They require time, space, and a family willing to learn what they truly need. Part of our responsibility as ethical, heart-centered breeders is to help families understand the real (not just Instagram-pretty) experience of rabbit ownership. I often joke that I’m more likely to talk someone out of adopting a bunny rather than into it — because where our babies spend their lives matters deeply to us. Because many families often fall in love with the same little star, adoptions are offered on a first-come, first-served basis. To reserve a bunny, a NON-REFUNDABLE $100 deposit per bunny is required. Deposits are accepted via Venmo or Cash App after your Pre-Screening Form has been reviewed and approved. Once your deposit is received, your bunny will be marked as Reserved and their journey home to you officially begins. 🌙💛 ⸻ ⭐ VISITATION While we completely understand the desire to meet your future bunny, Setareh Bunnies is a private, in-home program, not a storefront. For the wellbeing of our animals and our family, we do not offer in-person visits. To ensure no Setareh bunny ever ends up in an unprepared home, I intentionally plan my breeding schedule so that no babies are available around Easter. This builds trust without overwhelming the rabbit. As children grow and learn proper handling techniques, they can gradually take on more responsibility under adult guidance. I will always do my absolute best to determine your bunny’s gender accurately — but nature can sometimes surprise us. I encourage all adopters to double-check gender at pick-up, and I’m more than happy to walk you through how to do so. If you discover that your bunny’s gender was misidentified, please contact me within 10 days of taking your bunny home. Together, we will make it right: ✨ If you prefer a bunny of the originally requested gender, you may exchange your bunny when one becomes available. ✨ If you wish to keep your sweet original bunny, I will provide a 10% refund of the purchase price as an apology for the inconvenience. At Setareh Bunnies, our priority is the long-term wellbeing of our rabbits, the integrity of our program, and the quality of every home we place babies into. For that reason, pedigrees are not automatically provided with pet adoptions. If your bunny passes away within 30 days due to a congenital or genetic health condition, we will provide one complimentary replacement bunny, pending veterinary documentation confirming the cause of death. This guarantee does not cover: • Injury, accidents, or negligence • Improper care, diet, or handling • Illness resulting from environmental factors after leaving our care • Any veterinary or medical expenses incurred Once your bunny leaves our home, you—as their guardian—assume full financial and medical responsibility for their ongoing care. While Holland Lops typically range from 2.5 to 5 pounds, genetics can vary, and each bunny grows at their own natural pace. At Setareh Bunnies, every baby receives gentle daily handling — soft petting, interaction, being picked up, and carried in short, positive sessions. This early socialization helps build trust and confidence, but it’s important to remember: 🌙 Not all bunnies enjoy being held, even with training. Rabbits are prey animals by instinct, and preferences around handling can differ from one bunny to another.
